Katy Perry tiene un nuevo y alucinante single: 'Wide Awake'. Esta canción, junto con su videoclip, ocupa el puesto número 4 en la lista YouTube 100 detrás de Carly Rae Jepsen, Maroon 5 y Justin Bieber. Había anunciado canción y videoclip con un tráiler en el que una niña encuentra un libro donde aparecen las canciones del disco Teenage Dream poniendo al final una pequeña introducción sobre 'Wide Awake'.
